2. What we sell

We sell digital itineraries and related digital content. After purchase, the content is made available online in the user dashboard. A digital itinerary is an informational product – it is not a package tour or travel service under the legal regime applicable to organized travel packages.

The buyer uses the itinerary at their own responsibility and is obliged to adapt their driving to the current traffic situation, weather, road conditions, and the laws of the country in which they are travelling.

3. How the order works

After selecting a product and submitting an order with an obligation to pay, a contractual relationship is created. We send the order confirmation electronically to your e-mail address. In accordance with Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection, you will receive clear information before the contract is concluded, as well as confirmation on a durable medium.

The contract is concluded in the Slovak language and is governed by Slovak law.

4. Price and payment

Prices are listed on the website including VAT. Payment is processed via Stripe using:

·       card payment

·       Apple Pay

·       Google Pay

We do not process payment details directly – the entire payment transaction is handled by Stripe. An invoice is issued automatically after payment.

5. Delivery of digital content

After successful payment, the purchased digital itinerary will be made available to you immediately in your dashboard. Access is permanent unless stated otherwise.

To use the digital content, you need:

·       an internet connection

·       a compatible device

·       an up-to-date web browser

·       a functional user account

6. Withdrawal from the contract for digital content

For distance contracts, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right is lost if all of the following conditions are met:

·       the consumer expressly agrees, before completing the order, to the supply of the digital content beginning before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period

·       the consumer acknowledges that by giving such consent they lose the right to withdraw from the contract

·       the digital content is made available to them immediately after payment

Since all of these conditions are fulfilled when purchasing on Gotourino (consent is given when completing the order and the content is made available immediately after payment), the right to withdraw from the contract due to reconsideration of the purchase does not arise once the content has been made available. This does not affect the consumer’s rights in the event of defective performance.

7. Complaints

If, after payment, the digital itinerary has not been made available to you or access to the dashboard does not work, you may submit a complaint:

·       by e-mail to info@gotourino.com

·       in writing to the company’s registered address

In your complaint, we recommend including:

·       your full name

·       the e-mail address used for the order

·       the order number or payment identification

·       a description of the issue

·       a screenshot of the error, if applicable

How we handle complaints: We will process the complaint without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the date it is submitted. If the complaint is justified, we will primarily ensure that access is restored or that the digital itinerary is made available again.

When it is not considered a defect: A problem will generally not be considered a defect if it arose on the user’s side – for example, incorrect login credentials, a non-functioning internet connection, an outdated browser, or an incompatible device.

7a. Voluntary fair guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary fair guarantee on your first purchase. This guarantee is not a statutory consumer right but a voluntary commitment by the seller.

How the guarantee works: If after purchase you find that the guide does not contain what was promised on the product page, write to us within 3 days of purchase at info@gotourino.com, or via the Complaints form. We will look into it specifically and fairly. If we find that the product genuinely did not match what we promised, we will refund you or propose another appropriate solution.

What the guarantee covers: The guarantee applies to situations where the product demonstrably does not match the description on the product page – for example, content promised in the description that is missing, non-functioning map links, a significantly misleading description, or a material difference between what was promised and what was made available after purchase.

What the guarantee does not cover: The guarantee does not cover weather, traffic conditions, temporary road closures, hotel or restaurant availability, changes in third-party opening hours, personal change of plans, a subjective feeling of “I expected something different”, or situations that arose outside the content of the product itself.

8. Intellectual property

The purchased itinerary is intended solely for personal use. It may not be resold, shared, copied for commercial purposes, or made available to third parties.

9. Newsletter

Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase. You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time. Information about the processing of personal data, including newsletter-related processing, is provided in the Privacy Policy available on the gotourino.com website.

10. Alternative dispute resolution and complaints

If you are not satisfied with how your complaint has been handled, you may request redress by e-mail at info@gotourino.com. If we reject your request or do not respond within 30 days, you may file a proposal for alternative consumer dispute resolution under Act No. 391/2015 Coll. with the relevant alternative dispute resolution body.

A list of alternative dispute resolution bodies is available on the website of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

These terms are governed by Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and related legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.
