Day 1530 km

Transfer to Sibiu

The first day is a long transfer run through Hungary into Transylvania, built around an early start and well-timed stops. The goal is to reach Sibiu in good shape, settle into the city and be ready for the two main driving chapters of the trip.

Day 2400 km

Transalpina

Day two is the strongest driving day of the whole trip. Transalpina offers around 150 kilometres of driving heaven — open mountain space, flowing corners and the kind of rhythm that lets you really enjoy the car, while selected stops give the day a natural pace and rewarding views.

Day 3250 km

Transfăgărășan

Day three shifts the mood and brings a more technical and iconic mountain experience on the Transfăgărășan, climbing up towards Bâlea Lake. The route then layers in major elevation changes, the Vidraru Dam and a longer return run, making it one of the strongest days of the whole trip.

Day 4540 km

Return home

The final day closes the trip with a long return from Sibiu back home through Romania and Hungary. It is a clean transfer day built around discipline, smooth pacing and the satisfaction of leaving with a properly completed Transylvanian drive behind you.
